Dr. Leila Kuehner, N.D.
Sound Holistic Health Center welcomes Dr. Leila Kuehner to our team. As a Physician specializing in Naturopathic Medicine she focuses on strengthening the body's inherent capacity to heal. In the tradition of the wise adage “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”, she emphasizes the building blocks of health including a nutrient rich diet and consistent exercise. “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” according to Hippocrates. In Washington state we have access to fresh apples, asparagus, pears, cherries, grapes, raspberries, mint, and greens in season. We also have more than a hundred local farmer's markets, Community Supported Agriculture circles, and food coops such as Sno-Isle Natural Foods Co-op downstairs. Let's figure out a way to use these resources so we can create a solid foundation that allows us to respond to life's stressors.
Dr. Kuehner serves a variety of patients and specializes in assisting patients with hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, body weight challenges, allergies, stress, sleep, hormonal, and digestion issues. Dr. Kuehner will work with you to help you set and accomplish your goals. Not only does she want to assist you with your immediate concerns, but she also would like to help you plan for your long term fitness. Prevention is one of the naturopathic principles that she stresses as she has seen the rewards when one provides a clean and stable environment for the body and mind. Dr. Leila Kuehner graduated from Bastyr University with degrees in Naturopathic Medicine and Exercise Science and Wellness. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She enjoys the beauty and lushness of the Pacific Northwest by hiking, running, and traveling.
Dr. Leila Kuehner is currently accepting new patients and our office accepts insurance. She can either complement your current team of medical providers or can serve as your primary care physician.
